We will be administering the FAST ELA Reading and FAST Mathematics assessments on Tuesday, August 26 and Thursday, August 28.

Here’s what students and families need to know:

• All students in 6th, 7th, or 8th grade mathematics will take:
  • FAST ELA Reading on Tuesday
  • FAST Mathematics on Thursday
• Students enrolled in Algebra, Geometry, or a higher-level math course will take only the FAST ELA Reading.
  • About half of these students will test on Tuesday, and the remaining half on Thursday.
  • We will be conducting a ‘dry run’ during Club on Friday for Tuesday test locations.
• Make-up sessions will be held the following week for any students who are absent on their scheduled testing day.

💡 Reminders for Success:

• Get a good night’s sleep before testing.
• Eat a healthy breakfast the morning of your test.
• Do your best on every question—remember, the FAST is an adaptive test. The questions adjust to your performance, so give each one your full focus.
• If you’re unsure, it’s okay to make an educated guess—just make it your best guess.
